vsftpd：500 OOPS: vsftpd: refusing to run with writable root inside chroot ()

after I lock ftp user to stop them access system dir.

some user get an error when they login.

500 OOPS: vsftpd: refusing to run with writable root inside chroot ()

because if the user is limited to his home directory,the user’s home directory can no longer have write privileges.If the check finds that there are wirte permissions, the error will be reported.

if we need write privileges for home directory.we can modify the vsftpd.conf file.

add following parameter.

allow_writeable_chroot=YES

save and restart vsftpd.
